Final Audio Design (FAD), a Japanese hifi audio company, has successfully designed and built the world's first mass-produced 3D printed titanium headset, which is called Final Audio Design LAB 01, the ultimate audio design laboratory 01, in conjunction with Japan's PROBOX and NTT data engineering systems. Final Audio Design LAB 01 has a three-dimensional printing metal shell with Ti 64 as material, BAM (Balanced Air Movement) mechanism, full-frequency dual-balanced armature driver, stainless steel mesh filter, acoustic resistance and silicon original earpad. The shell is printed by NTT using EOSINT M 280 3D printer from EOS Company of Germany. This is a selective laser sintering (SLS) system for metal parts, which is made of Ti64 titanium alloy powder.
